A man in his 40s has been rescued by a lifeboat crew after falling ill.
Hemsby Broads Rescue were called to reports of a 43-year-old man who was experiencing medical difficulties aboard a boat close to The Reedcutter, in Cantley, in the early hours of this morning (December 14).
The ambulance service had been unable to reach the casualty and required crews from Hemsby, Winterton and Gorleston to assist with the rescue.
The man was taken from their vessel and onto a rescue boat before being transported to an ambulance.
Hemsby Lifeboat has thanked the crew who assisted with cleaning and preparing equipment following the rescue.
