A city pub's new outdoor space is ready in time for customers to enjoy this spring.
The Artichoke, in Magdalen Road, hopes its new outdoor space will prove a "pleasant" space for punters.
The structure replaces the previous marquee which was in place at the pub in the same spot. While this served the purpose necessary, the pub wanted something there which will last forever.
Heaters will be installed in the structure, which is weather protecting.
The shelter, built by Mensa Carpentry, cost the pub upwards of £6,500.
Talia Holmes, the boozer's assistant manager, said: "There's been really positive feedback, everyone has said it looks great.
"We are super happy with how it has turned out - which is far better than we thought.
"We are really excited for summer and for when spring hits, to have a better space for events and pop-ups.
"We are one of the few places in the area that have such a big outside space, so it is such a great space for the community."
The pub's manager, Harley Wright, has also said visitors should keep their eyes peeled for a big food announcement later in the month.
