Norwich's Dynamic Fitness in Ber Street celebrates 15 years

Dynamic Fitness in Ber Street has been running since 2008 offering people a one-to-one fitness experience as opposed to the typical crowded gym.

Owner Ross Lenton has even commissioned a mural of the city for the fitness studio's main wall to commemorate the occasion by local artist Owen Mathers.

Mr Lenton said his business had been able to ensure gym-goers kept coming back with its unique training methods.

He said: "Our unique selling point is that we deal with clients on a one-to-one basis.

"That has kept us going in tough times for local businesses, we see ourselves more as a studio than a gym.

"We've managed to get a great relationship going with local people and that helped us to bounce back after Covid as everyone came straight back.

"Good trainers creating meaningful relationships has meant that we haven't had to deal with people stopping and starting, they invest in themselves when they come here."

Customers over the years have even included the Lord Mayor and Sheriff of Norwich.

But Mr Lenton says his favourite moments during the business's time in operation have been its charity fundraising events which have raised thousands of pounds for a number of charities.

He added: "I like to think we've made a change in the city, our slogan is keeping Norwich moving and we've done that.

"My favourite moments have been the events we've held for Sports Relief, Break and Little Lifts.

"And we've raised loads for the British Heart Foundation, perhaps the funniest thing we did was holding a race up Southgate Lane, which those who go to Carrow Road will know is incredibly steep.

"Entering the duck race was great too."
