From sleeping in a car to owning an award-winning business – an NR3 woman has beaten all the odds and now intends on passing her expertise down to others.
Szandra Farkas-Kraszlan owns Magnolia Beauty & Beyond, in Mile Cross, but did not always have everything she wanted.
In 2014, Szandra travelled from Hungary to the UK in a car with everything she owned and after arriving in Norwich was sofa surfing before she could rent.

Szandra started studying at City College Norwich where she learnt about the beauty industry, helping her to land a salon job.
She worked in the salon for three years before deciding to open her own business, realising her dream at an Aylsham Road shop just as the pandemic hit.
The salon was able to open on July 4, 2020, with just three members of staff.
Szandra said: "Opening a business in the middle of a pandemic with multiple lockdowns was a tough experience.
"I was scared I would fail before I even opened, worried no one would come and I would not be able to inspire staff to join me.
"The lack of self-belief has often been an issue for me suffering from anxiety, but with the amazing support of my family, friends and the local community Magnolia is still going."

Szandra now owns her first NR3 home and is also training to teach others within her industry.
She continued: “Now with the world where it is and the cost of living crisis ongoing, the challenges do just keep on coming.
“I am as passionate as ever about helping people feel confident and good about themselves and about providing services in a calm, stress-free non-judgmental, spotless environment.
“I love the industry, love Norwich and I feel incredibly lucky to be here."
