Hungry city folk looking for a midnight snack could soon be able to get fast food as late as 3am after a takeaway applied to extend its opening hours.
Fireaway Pizza in Plumstead Road is hoping to be able to open for an additional four hours on Friday and Saturday.
The takeaway is currently open between midday and 11pm each day.
If approved the new hours would see Fireaway offer delivery-only services during the additional hours.
The store opened in June last year promising fresh pizza for £5 cooked in just 180 seconds.

Fireaway is currently undergoing a rapid expansion across the UK, opening two Norwich branches in the last two years, with the second located on St Benedicts Street.
The application comes after councillors raised concerns when Papa John's in Colman Road announced it was planning to open until 4am, saying others could follow suit after plans were approved.
So far there have been no objections to the Fireaway plans.
