A city centre charity shop has closed temporarily.

The Big C shop in Timberhill closed on Monday but a sign left in its window says it will only be closed for two weeks due to planned refurbishment work.

The store raises money for Norfolk cancer charity Big C, selling a variety of secondhand items including clothes, household items and accessories.

The shop is also well known for what lies upstairs, The Norwich Bridal Boutique, where folk planning their big day can do so at a fraction of the cost.

People hoping to book bridal appointments can still do so in advance by calling 01603 761029.
