Yet another altercation has taken place in a controversial pedestrianised street in Norwich after a man struck a passing car with a walking stick.
Exchange Street has been the centre of city arguments since Lucy Hall, 66, caused queues of honking cars when she blocked the passageway - which has been pedestrianised for almost three years - at the start of November.
The incident saw traffic marshalls and a barrier introduced in an attempt to keep it pedestrianised, but even that could not stop the cars, with a marshall getting hit by an angry driver in November 2022.

Now another altercation has taken place, with one man who was angry with a car using the street at 1pm on Saturday, April 22 lashing out at it with his walking stick.
Passers-by reported seeing the car's wing mirror get knocked off and a small dent put into the side of the car.
The man was then seen having an argument with the driver.
A police spokeswoman said officers were called to the scene at about 2pm.
She said: "Police were called to reports of criminal damage to a vehicle following an incident on Saturday.
"Following a verbal altercation the car was damaged by the male pedestrian.
"Enquiries are ongoing."
Shopkeepers in the street have backed measures to stop cars using it with former cabby Chris Cooper, 58, who runs Tolar Jewellers, saying vehicles misusing the road had made it an "accident waiting to happen".
However, some of those working in surrounding streets say the vehicle ban has "killed trade".
The restrictions have also seen protests from taxi drivers who say the ban is harming their trade.
Following a previous altercation, a Norfolk County Council spokesman said: "This is an area dominated by people walking around the city, making it an unsuitable route for through traffic.
"The scheme makes it safer and easier to get around on foot or by bike, supports outdoor hospitality and the local economy, and improves air quality."
Anyone with information about the altercation can contact PC James McAvoy at Norfolk Constabulary on 101 quoting CAD 240 of April 22, 2023.
