A murder mystery event is coming to Norwich where people can enjoy a gourmet three-course meal while solving a case good enough for Sherlock Holmes.
The Maids Head Hotel in Tombland is known for hosting these murder mystery events and has done for many years, with its next one being held on Saturday, May 13.
The hotel has now also introduced the events at Christmas as an alternative to its traditional festive party nights.
The evenings are held in a large suite at the hotel and usually attract around 80 guests.
Entertainment is provided by the Foul Players, a murder mystery company which takes "crime-themed scenarios from page to performance".

While the drama unfolds, a three-course dinner is served with roasted Norfolk chicken and thyme potato croquettes and a pan-fried fillet of salmon with gnocchi among the menu options.
Guests are encouraged to get dressed up and enjoy the surroundings decorated for the occasion.
The theme for the evening is "All that Glisters" - with the mystery centred around a letter from Sherlock Holmes containing a cryptic note and a wedding ring.
The event is just £45 per person and tickets can be booked via events@maidsheadhotel.co.uk
