There is something strange in your neighbourhood as the Ghostbusters are heading to Norwich for a special event.

On Saturday, June 10 between 10am and 4pm, characters from the paranormal-busting Ghostbusters films make a special guest appearance at the Castle Quarter.

They will be fully equipped with their proton packs, as they prepare to fight ghouls, goblins and ghosts - including the six-metre-tall destructive giant Mr Stay Puft Marshmallow Man.

It is all part of a community fundraising day in aid of East Anglia's Children’s Hospices and, as with all events at Castle Quarter, it will be free to attend and family friendly, with donations encouraged.

Gemma Hyde, marketing and administration manager at the Castle Quarter, said: “Ghostbusters is one of the most recognisable paranormal film franchises of all time and we are delighted to be welcoming seven of the film’s characters to Castle Quarter.

"We hope it raises lots of money for a very important local charity."
