An application has been submitted for a new retail pod in the car park of a supermarket in Thorpe St Andrew.
The proposal would see four parking spaces at the Sainsbury's store in Pound Lane replaced by a Timpson unit.
Services provided by the unit will include dry cleaning and key cutting - with the site operating a drop-off and collection point for products.

Customers will also have the option to either wait on site or do their shopping within the main Sainsbury's store while work is carried out.
The pod will be constructed off-site and will consist of a customer service counter, a waiting area and a staff room.

A planning statement submitted to Broadland District Council by Sainsbury's explains the rationale for the Timpson "is that it will provide an additional service for customers while they do their shopping".
It adds: "A retail pod in a location such as this is commonplace and its design will complement the existing [supermarket].
"Furthermore, the proposed retail pod and the alterations to the car park and signage will also have no adverse impact with regard to amenity, highways or public safety."
