Two men have been charged in connection with armed robberies in Norwich involving a gun and a knife.
Police have arrested and charged the men in connection with the two armed robberies at the weekend.
In both incidents, the suspects threatened the shop staff with what is believed to be an air pistol and knife.
The first robbery happened at a shop in Aylsham Road at 9.47pm on Saturday, June 3, when two men threatened a shop employee and stole a quantity of cash.
The shop worker was assaulted during the incident and received a minor injury to the face.
The second robbery was at a shop in Heigham Street at 10.30pm the next day, on Sunday, June 4.
Three people entered the shop on that occasion, stealing cash and alcohol.
The shop's employee was also assaulted, suffering a minor head injury which didn't require treatment.
Two men were arrested on Monday, June 5 and taken to Wymondham Police Station for questioning.
Jake Gallagher, 19, of Key & Castle Yard, Norwich and Kaine Fairweather, 22, of Munnings Road, Norwich, have each been charged with two counts of robbery.
They appeared at Norwich Magistrates' Court this morning (June 7) and have been remanded in custody.
The third suspect is yet to be identified.
