A jubilant atmosphere and laughter filled the streets of Norwich as the Lord Mayor's Procession made its way through the city centre.
Thousands turned up to see the 'Sights of the City' themed parade, which featured costumes, performers, acrobats, dancers, fancy dress and much more.
Among the celebrations, 'Tastes of the City' brought an array of food to hungry procession-goers, including Louisiana deep-filled baguettes, Asian-style chicken and bao buns.
In Chapelfield Gardens, families enjoyed circus shows, carnival dressing-up, a funfair, and a chance to make-their-own musical instruments.
The weekend-long activities continue today with the Great Norwich Duck Race in Riverside and the Norwich Lanes Fair.
Funds raised during this year's Lord Mayor's Weekend will go toward the Norfolk Community Foundation's Nourishing Norfolk initiative.
