A prominent city centre unit is set to finally be filled by a popular Mexican fast-food restaurant.
Tortilla, which sells California-style Mexican burritos and tacos, is hoping to open its first Norwich premises in the former Greggs in White Lion Street.
An official opening date is yet to be announced, but job adverts are currently advertising an October start date.

The prominent site has been vacant since the bakery chain relocated to a larger premises - the former Game store - opposite in December 2022.
It spans 3,800sqft across four floors, including a storage basement.
If approved by the city council, exterior works to building would include the construction of a Tortilla fascia board alongside an illuminated sign reading "Real California Burritos & Tacos".

A bright digital screen and illuminated menu box would also be placed in the shop window.
The chain first opened in 2007 and now has more than 80 restaurants across the UK offering both dine-in and takeaway.
It claims to be the UK's largest fast-casual Mexican restaurant brand and the closest branch is currently in Cambridge.
