A devoted Taylor Swift fan, the Sprowston Junior School pupil has always been inspired by the pop genre, from Olivia Rodrigo to Harry Styles, and has been singing and performing from a young age.
Discussing her first solo release titled XOXO, Miss Sugg said: "I really love writing the lyrics, I wanted to see what it was like to have a song out and play around with singing."
She added: "I've always loved the idea of music, ever since I heard my first song, I've always thought that could be me."
Alongside performing as the lead singer and keyboard player in a band with her school friends, Miss Sugg has written and produced a total of nine songs in her bedroom, which she hopes to release on Spotify soon.
