A theatre group has been named as the first official associate company of Norwich Theatre.
The two organisations will collaborate over a two-year period, focusing on creative innovation, audience development and community engagement.
Limbik originates from Norwich and is known for producing genre-defying theatre and live performances.
While working with Norwich University of the Arts, the University of East Anglia and various regional partners, they aim to utilise the county’s stories for their work.
Jez Pike, head of creative development at Norwich Theatre, said: "I'm delighted that Limbik has agreed to be Norwich Theatre's first associate company.
"They are a company driven by curiosity, interested in our story and how they can be part of it, and committed to sharing their learning with others.
"They'll open up new creative solutions across the organisation and work alongside us as colleagues.
"With the generous support of Arts Council England, Limbik will pilot fresh ways of working over the next two years, engaging more communities across our county, working with new partners and diversifying creative experiences.
"As Limbik develop, so will Norwich Theatre, and we can't wait to begin that journey with them."

Limbik co-directors, Sarah Johnson and Ben Samuels, expressed their excitement at this new collaborative venture.
Ben said: "We are thrilled and honoured to be taking up this opportunity as an associate company at Norwich Theatre.
Sarah added: “Having a partner like Norwich Theatre gives us the chance to take bigger risks, reach more people, and hopefully break new ground together.
Norwich Theatre has closely worked with Limbik since the development of Rebel Rabble in 2022, an immersive, outdoor production inspired by the history of Kett’s Rebellion.
Limbik will now join the Creative Assembly as the associate company - a move in line with Norwich Theatre's Creative Experiences Strategy.
