A mum of three young children has raised serious concerns about the condition of her council home as it crumbles more around their heads every passing day.
Hannah Edy, 25, has watched as her social housing in Penn Grove, in NR3, has fallen further into disrepair during the last five years, pleading with Norwich City Council to make repairs or let her live elsewhere.
Among the growing list of her concerns are a bad mould problem, cracked ceilings and asbestos throughout the property, which she claims was first discovered in 2009 and ignored.
Hannah's eldest child, who is six, suffers from asthma and her youngest, one, was born prematurely and with weak lungs, making the presence of mould spores a danger to both.
"It all started three years ago when workers came to repair a leak in my bathroom but who somehow created a crack in the ceiling of my living room," she said.

"There's now a large hole there and it's slowly bowing in due to the build-up of water, and even though the council has been out to inspect it multiple times nothing has been done.
"Sometimes I come into the living room and find all these bits on the sofa and on the floor where it is coming apart."

With her children's health and safety at risk, Hannah has requested to move homes but has been told no on repeated occasions, leaving her feeling helpless and ignored.
"My youngest is sick all the time and I refuse to live here any longer," she added.
"I ring the property services team every single day but whenever I do they say they have no record of my complaints.
"I've had to go to my children's school and explain the situation and they're putting together a letter to the council to have something done."
Norwich City Council has been approached for comment.
