Group Football Editor Paddy Davitt has posted his marks following the Canaries’ stirring 3-2 Premier League triumph over Manchester City
Here is Paddy's verdict on Daniel Farke's troops, who defied a chronic injury list to stun Pep Guardiola's champions.
- Tim Krul
Vital in a second half that ebbed constantly towards his goal. The tip over from Nicolas Otamendi earned his side a famous victory. But his handling was secure as well to thwart the visitors from range. Beaten by the sheer power of Rodri's late strike. Sparked the move that led to Todd Cantwell's goal. 8
- Sam Byram
A tough act to follow in replacing the injured Max Aarons but the gauntlet was well and truly thrown down. Defended aggressively up against first Raheem Sterling and later Bernardo. Numerous tackles and willingness to engage in one-on-one duels. Needed more help when Manchester City worked an overload for their first goal. 8
- Ibrahim Amadou
A star is born. Powerful athlete, read the game well and on occasion surged out of defence to spark home counters. One crucial improvised tackle halted a dangerous Manchester City foray in the second half. 9
- Ben Godfrey
Major injury doubt before the game but you would not have known. Another mature display and the makings of a resolute centre back pairing with Ibrahim Amadou. Lost Sergio Aguero for a split second who headed home Manchester City's first goal. 7
- Jamal Lewis
Looks so comfortable at this level. Just one lapse when Bernardo climbed above him for Sterling's header against a post. 7
- Kenny McLean
Dreamy opening goal to spark the bedlam. Perfectly-timed run and powerful glancing header left Ederson with no chance. But his pressing, chasing and harrying plus his physical presence in the centre of the park offered the right blend alongside Alex Tettey. 8
- Alex Tettey
What a day for the stand in captain on his first Premier League start of the season. You know what City's experienced midfielder brings and there was plenty of opportunity to disrupt the Citizens' build up play. 7
- Emi Buendia
Did not look out of place among the superstars including his compatriot Aguero. Two assists - the steal from Otamendi was razor-sharp - and involved in the build up to Cantwell's goal. Never stopped probing or adding his ballast to the defensive mix. Vamos. 9
- Marco Stiepermann
Best Premier League game yet. Key role in Cantwell's goal. Physical presence was vital. 7
- Todd Cantwell
The good times keep rolling. Raced clear to slot Pukki's squared pass to cap a week that brought his first England Under-21 cap. Also played his part in helping to narrow the pitch when out of possession. Late booking was merited but underlined his commitment. 8
- Teemu Pukki
Started the weekend named Premier League player-of-the-month. Then set about showing why. A selfless assist for Todd Cantwell and composed finish for his sixth top flight goal of the campaign. Peerless. 9
