The highly anticipated opening for Chicago's replacement, Bar & Beyond, will take place on Friday, with various appearances from reality TV stars scheduled over the weekend.
The Shoreditch-inspired bar will serve street food and drinks in the evening, and transform into a club later on.
The Prince of Wales Road venue will open on Friday, February 24 with a launch party featuring The Only Way is Essex star and DJ, Lauren Pope, and on Saturday her former co-star and presenter Mark Wright will be on hand to entertain party goers.
David Vickery, Bar & Beyond general manager, said: 'Bar & Beyond is a new concept for the UK late-night bar market. The Bar & Beyond ethos offers two distinct experiences, with food served at the bar from early evening, with 'Going Beyond', a high quality club experience with a state of the art sound system and some of the best DJs and live acts around at the rear of the venue.'
The new bar is the result of a £565,000 investment from the UK's largest bar and club operator The Deltic Group, who also owned Chicago's, and will create 35 full-time and part-time jobs.
