Students turned up to their Year 11 prom in classic cars, a fire engine and a horse and carriage at Attleborough High School.

Pupils and staff donned a glittering array of evening wear for the celebration evening, which included a walk down the red carpet.

A white Horse and carriage carrying Year 11 students Ben Kagawamba, Paul Kahiko, Emily Jude, Jasmine Ayton won the best arrival award, whilst an army fire engine transporting Steven Naidu, Gene Furneuax, Holly Warren, Charlotte Ord, Sarah Huddlestone, Liam Watson won the most original arrival.

The event was attended by Attleborough mayor Samantha Taylor.

The supper was followed by an awards ceremony naming Prom King and Queen –Toby Moore and Charlie Martin.

Other awards included Jack Suggit and Cat Oliver as 'Best Dressed' male and female, Meghan Southgate and Rhys Parfitt for 'Cutest Couple', Lewis Higgs for ' Biggest Transformation', 'Most likely to be Famous' was Danny Williams and Alice King and Jordan Sacharczuk won the award for the funniest person in the year group.
