An unvaccinated GP who refused to wear a mask at the height of the pandemic is fighting a doctors' surgery over her dismissal.
Angela Musso was dismissed from a locum placement at Cutler's Hill in Halesworth after just a day, amid a row with the practice manager over Covid safety measures.
On her second day at work, Dr Musso was questioned by staff about her mask-wearing exemption and it emerged she had also not been vaccinated.
After seeking advice from the Local Medical Council, the practice then opted to terminate her placement.
Following her departure, bosses at the surgery reported Dr Musso to the General Medical Council, having received complaints from patients that she told them to remove their masks and kept windows closed during appointments.
But Dr Musso - whose website says she is now a model and working in 'holistic medicine' - has now taken the practice to an employment tribunal, arguing that the decision to stop working with her was discriminatory.
Dr Musso, who lives in Norwich, said she was medically exempt from wearing a mask because she suffers from anxiety.
She said: "I did not understand why I was being questioned.
"I was being asked incredibly personal questions about my health and medical conditions and do not have to tell anybody about this."
Dr Musso's social media includes a picture of her wearing a mask with the slogan "government-mandated muzzle" and a video in which she said she had discouraged patients from having the vaccine because of potential side effects.
She said she was keen to return to practice once the tribunal is complete, but that she feels as though she has been "black-listed".
She added: "I have more than 20 years of experience and have worked as a GP in New Zealand and Australia but I now call Norwich my second home.
"I became a GP because I want to help people."
Separate claims against the practice, that she was directly discriminated against, harassed and victimised, have been struck out.
Employment judge Liz Ord ruled that these claims had "no realistic prospect" of succeeding.
Dr Musso worked at the surgery in Halesworth on April 29 and April 30, 2021.
The tribunal will be heard on Monday, November 28.
