The owner of one of Norwich Market's most popular street food stalls is hoping for similar success with his new fine dining restaurant.
Boston House opens on Wednesday, November 23, in Orford Street, which was previously a beauty salon.
Tim Irven, 28, launched Bun Box on Norwich Market in 2017, offering bao buns and Japanese rice bowls, and it has since expanded to four units.
But his new opening will see him go back to his fine dining roots.
After studying catering at City College Norwich as a teenager he moved to London for a while where he worked in Michelin-starred restaurants.
Mr Irven said: "It has always been the dream to open my own fine dining restaurant and when this building came up I had a walk around and felt it could be something quite special.
"I want it to be somewhere that people feel relaxed, which serves great produce led by what is in season."
He has restored the former name to when it was owned by the Boston family in the 1800s, with Kieran Harper hand-painting the signage using original features.
Its previous use includes an old pram shop, with the hooks the prams hung from still on the ceiling.
The two-floor fine dining restaurant also features an open kitchen with a chef's table, a bar area and private dining rooms.
The decor brings the outside in with a bar made of cork, lots of wood and plants and a moss and dried mushroom feature wall.
The bar will serve cocktails alongside wines, beers and spirits, with many local suppliers, and snacks such as sausage rolls.
At lunchtime, a three-course set menu will be on offer and at dinner people can either get the meat or vegetarian tasting menu or order a few small plates.
Mr Irven added: "Let your stresses and worries melt away while we wine and dine you and send you off with a full stomach and a big smile on your face."
The first week it will be open for dinner only from 5.30pm to 9.30pm and after that for lunch too from 12pm to 2.30pm - book at bostonhouserestaurant.co.uk
