A bakery giant set to expand to a larger city centre premises may have inadvertently given away when it is opening.
Until now Greggs has kept tight-lipped about when it will be opening in the former Game store.
Greggs has 23 shops in Norfolk, nine of which are in Norwich.
In a statement, a spokeswoman for Greggs said: "We're excited to announce that our White Lion Street shop is moving to a new and improved shop on Back of the Inns in the coming weeks."
However she hinted the shop will be open this side of Christmas, adding: "Returning to usual service, the shop will stock freshly prepared Greggs favourites, including the new Christmas menu offerings: the festive bake, all-new vegan turkey-free and stuffing baguette, pigs under blankets baguette and the festive hot drink range."
When pressed for an official opening date, Greggs could not confirm any further.
