A man has been charged with theft after meat was stolen from Marks & Spencer in Norwich.
Police arrested a man in his 30s, just after 3.30pm on Tuesday, November 22, on suspicion of theft after he was spotted by officers allegedly stealing £87 of meat from the Marks and Spencer store in Rampant Horse Street.
Jason Rex, 33, of Arnold Miller Close, Norwich, has since been charged with theft from a shop.
He has also been charged with previous offences of being concerned in the supply of heroin between June and August 2021 and crack cocaine between June 2021 and November 2021.
Rex appeared at Norwich Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, November 23, where he has been remanded into custody ahead of his next court appearance at Norwich Crown Court on Wednesday, December 21.
