A former taxi driver has swapped wheels for deals, by setting up a stall on Norwich market.
Javed Haidary, 29, has opened a kitchenware shop after deciding he wanted a change from his cab job.
"I've lived in Norwich for ten years now and I love the city," he added.
"I enjoyed working as a taxi driver but I wanted to try something different.
"I'm still young so I hoped this new venture will give me a new experience in running my own business.
"I really love cooking at home and trying new dishes, which made me think, there must be lots of people out there doing the same but wanting good quality kitchenware at a decent price."
The shop, Norwich Kitchenware, offers an array of items and utensils, from knives to pressure cookers.
It specialises in pots and pans and has a big range that can be used with a variety of cooking methods.
The shop opened on Monday (November 21) and there is new stock arriving every day, with plans for further expansions.
"It is great to have opened here and add to the diversity of what is on offer here," said Mr Haidary, who lives in the Unthank Road area.
"I hope we can provide customers with what they want and need.
"Quality is really important for me - I want customers to be satisfied and trust in our products so we have chosen the best equipment we could find for the price.
"I don't want to leave anyone disappointed."
The store is open Monday to Saturday between 10am and 4.30pm and you can keep up to date with the latest products on offer through Norwich Kitchenware's social media accounts.
