A Norwich City legend was on hand to cut the ribbon as a school near Norwich officially opened its revamped sixth form.
The sixth form centre at Hellesdon High School has recently undergone major refurbishments following an investment of £278,000 from the Wensum Trust.
The project has seen a host of changes made at the site, including the addition of a new study centre and an updated common room for students to socialise in.
Students have been provided with kitchen facilities and new seating for the social area and its study centre has doubled in size.
This week, former Norwich City captain Adam Drury visited the centre to meet students and formally cut the ribbon on the revamped site.
The 2003 Canaries player of the year, who made more than 300 appearances for the club between 2001 and 2012, is already familiar with the school through his work with the Norwich City Community Sports Foundation, so was invited as guest of honour.
John Smith, chairman of trustees at the Wensum Trust, said: "These new and modern facilities enhance our provision to students who are preparing to take that next step on their future career path.
"I am delighted with the new centre and common room and I hope our students enjoy it for many years to come."
Mike Earl, principal at Hellesdon, said: "Hellesdon Sixth Form has so much to offer young people with big aspirations but who also want to continue their education somewhere that will provide a nurturing environment.
"While the study centre offers more space and the common room creates a great social space for students to meet and relax, sixth formers at Hellesdon continue to benefit from smaller class sizes and a supportive approach from staff."
The relaunch of the facility also includes the creation of a new logo - which was in part designed by some of its own graphic design students, who worked alongside brand agency FOUR on the project.
Mr Earl added: "This has given them the opportunity to work with a professional company, as well as contribute to the look of our sixth form.
"The new logo helps mark the start of this modern era for our sixth form."
