A city comic will be hoping to become "oooh, friends" with a popular television celebrity when they share the stage in London this week.
Martin Westgate is the founder of city stand-up company, Hooma Comedy Club, but travels all around the country performing.
On December 8 Martin will be hitting the London scene, at the Comedy Pub in Leicester Square.
He will be part of a set alongside one of the UK's well-known celebs - The Inbetweeners' Joe Thomas.
Martin, who has been doing comedy for six years, is looking to make the most of his experience saying: "The Inbetweeners was very popular with our generation.
"I'm always looking to learn something so this will be a great gig to stay and watch not just Joe, but the other established comedians."
Joe played Simon Cooper in the Inbetweeners for three seasons and two films before starring in other hits such as Channel 4's Fresh Meat and BBC 2's White Gold.
