Visitors to The Forum in Norwich will no longer need to cross their legs thanks to the addition of a new £65,000 "state of the art" accessible toilet.
It is hoped the new loo will allow more people with disabilities to access the building which houses Norwich Library and BBC Radio Norfolk among other amenities.
The "modern" toilet was made possible by a portion of the £23.5m Changing Places government funding.
Work on the toilet will begin on Tuesday, January 3, 2023.
Teresa Wood, head of estates at The Forum described the new addition as "vital".
She said: “We’re very happy to have received funding for Changing Places facilities, so we can offer vital provision to those living with disabilities.
“The Forum is here for everybody and by installing new accessible spaces we’re able to welcome more people into our building.”
Alan Waters, Labour leader of Norwich City Council, added: “We’re incredibly pleased to be one of the local authorities across the country to receive this money, which will deliver vital accessible facilities in our city.”
