A bakery giant expanding to larger city centre premises opens today (Friday, December 9).
Greggs had initially kept tight-lipped about when it will be opening in the former Game store in Back of the Inns, Norwich - closing its existing store opposite.
Greggs has 23 shops in Norfolk, nine of which are in the fine city.
The new and prominent unit - on the corner of White Lion - Street covers 1,700 sq ft.
A spokeswoman for Greggs said: "We're excited to be welcoming customers into our new and improved shop in Back of the Inns, previously in White Lion Street.
"New members will be joining the existing team as five new jobs have been created.
"Returning to usual service, the shop will stock freshly prepared Greggs favourites, including the new Christmas menu offerings of the festive bake, all-new vegan turkey-free and stuffing baguette, pigs under blankets baguette and festive hot drink range."
