A Norwich photographer has wowed his followers on social media with a stunning collection of pictures showing the city in all its festive glory.

Paul Macro, 49, posted a series of images of the Christmas lights in the city centre on his Facebook page, which he captured over two nights.

It includes Grosvenor Fish Bar with its festive wreaths, a colourful Norwich Market at twilight and a huge Christmas tree at The Forum.

He said: "I am predominately a landscape photographer and have spent hours wandering along windswept wintery beaches but I do not have a lot of images of Norwich, so this year I made a point of capturing Christmas in the city.

"The reaction to my pictures has been lovely and the best Christmas window display I saw was at Pure Brides."

He will also use the images in future calendars, with his 2023 one for sale on his website, Jarrold and at small independent shops.
