The Maids Head in Norwich's Tombland is believed to be one of the oldest hotels in the country.
As a result it has been the scene of many life-changing days for people across Norwich.
Children have been born in the rooms of the hotel.
Wedding receptions have been enjoyed in its bars and restaurant.
Anniversaries have been welcomed in with afternoon tea from its award-winning chefs over the years.
The hotel was originally used as a palace for the first Norman Bishop of Norwich, Herbert de Losinga.
As such, it has hosted weary travellers and merry drinkers since the middle of the 1090s.
For those who enjoy a bite to eat in the hotel's Wine Press Restaurant, they will actually be sat in the midst of the oldest part of the building.
The restaurant is based in the former 15th-century inn.
