A city watering hole has been named one of the top pubs in the country by a prestigious British hospitality guide.
The Fat Cat Pub, in West End Street, was named one of the top 10 beer pubs in the UK - by The Good Pub Guide - for its "extraordinarily interesting" list of real ales.
The pub was described as being a "heaven for real ale lovers".
Established in December 1991 by Colin and Marje Keatley, the pub has won several regional and national awards.
It has won The Good Pub Guide - Beer Pub of the Year 11 times and CAMRA also recently awarded The Fat Cat with a Gold Award as part of its 50th-anniversary honours list.
The Good Pub Guide named The Fat Cat pub among its shortlist due to its "friendly service and great atmosphere".
The pub was ranked alongside the Bhurtpore in Cheshire, The Guildford Arms in Edinburgh and its namesake The Fat Cat over the border in Suffolk.
