Norwich City banner displays celebrating famous wins and past heroes were a common sight at Carrow Road during Daniel Farke's reign.
But since the German's departure and end of lockdown, they have been nowhere to be seen.
However, they could now be set to return, with organisers from City fan group Along Come Norwich saying they would like to bring the banners back.
Andrew Lawn from the group said restrictions post-Covid and fan apathy during Dean Smith's spell in charge had made it more difficult to pull off the large detailed creations.
But he is hoping the arrival of David Wagner as City boss will improve fans' connection with the team and inspire more to get involved with the displays.
He said: "Ever since Covid it's been more difficult to do banners.
"We've only got a small team and there's been apathy from fans and the club so people aren't as willing to make it happen.
"It's just not as easy now there are so many hoops to jump through.
"But we would certainly like to do some more in the future."
