A Norwich park will close for a month while its play area is transformed, which will include the tallest slide tower in the city.
The play area at Wensum Park is getting a revamp from Monday, January 16 and it will be shut for four to five weeks.
There will be a brand new set of equipment installed, including a six-metre tall slide tower, rope swing, multi-unit climbing frame and spinning seats.
The new equipment has been paid for with funds from development in Norwich – to improve facilities in the local community.
Cllr Adam Giles, cabinet member for parks and open spaces at Norwich City Council, said: “This fantastic new equipment is a great addition to Wensum Park and part of our commitment to making sure our open spaces are a great place for everyone to enjoy.
“The play equipment will be in place ready to be used in spring, so please bear with us while the main play area is closed for this exciting upgrade.”
