A chef who previously worked on The Crown and Downton Abbey has secured a kitchen residency at a historic Norwich pub.

George Cobb, 29, set up his own business Hobb Boss Catering in the summer of 2022 after feeding cast and crew on TV shows and films.

Since then he has held regular pop-ups at Connaught Kitchen in NR2 with his next one a roast dinner on January 15, with the menus and booking details on Instagram.

Mr Cobb has now secured another location in the city and will start with a pop-up at the Louis Marchesi pub in Tombland on Saturday, January 28.

The menu will have a street food tapas style with loaded fries, breakfast tacos, arancini balls, chicken wings and specials such as burgers.

Mr Cobb said: "If it goes well I will be there every Saturday and hopefully I will do seven days a week by the summer.

"I am from an a la carte background so everything will be homemade and locally sourced."
