A paddleboard business will remain based at a city pub which has recently been taken over by new landlords.
The owner of Norwich Paddleboard Hire, Adam Tiffany, has confirmed that his firm's home at the Gibraltar Gardens is not at risk, despite the recent takeover.
In fact, Mr Tiffany believes that under this new ownership, both the pub, located in Heigham Street, and his paddleboard firm are set to thrive in 2023.
He said: "After speaking to the landlord, he has lots of very big and exciting plans which I think are going to transform the location - with the best beer garden in Norwich.
"It has also been really reassuring for us.
"Norwich Paddleboard Hire is only getting bigger and better and we are endeavouring to be the home of paddleboarding in Norfolk."
This year will also see upgrades to all of the paddleboarding equipment, the introduction of touring boards for advanced users, and more giant six-person boards for stag and hen parties who want to get out on the water.
