A popular Indian restaurant on the outskirts of Norwich remains open despite rumours it has closed.
Rishi in Mousehold Lane has seen its trade hit after a rumour spread that it had closed after the building the curry house is based in went on sale last year.
The business has not been helped by a for sale sign outside which bosses say has put punters off.
Monty Ali, the restaurant's owner, says diners have become muddled up thinking the business is for sale when in fact it is just the building.
He said: "People have got this wrong, we are running as usual.
"It's really hit the business too.
"We had a really bad, in fact terrible Christmas because of this, we are not for sale."
It comes as the curry house prepares to celebrate 12 years in business on Sunday, February 19, with a Bollywood night featuring traditional dancers.
