New owners are to take over at a city centre pub this year after its current bosses took over at a popular bar and music venue on the outskirts of Norwich.
Claire and Dale Brooks, owners of the Walnut Tree Shades in Old Post Office Court, have found a new owner for their pub who they say will take over later this year.
It comes after the pair took over at the Brickmakers in Sprowston Road after its long-time operators Pam South, Emma Rose and Charley South had run the venue for 20 years.
Mrs Brooks reassured punters that the city centre pub will remain open until the new owners take over.
She said: "We're currently running both pubs until the Walnut is transferred to the new owners.
"We just want people to know its open and we're still doing things there even though we've moved over to the Brickmakers."
It comes as Mrs Brooks prepares to hold her first gig as co-owner at the Brickmakers.
