Gaming fanatics will be reaching for their joysticks as a gaming festival returns to the city.

Held at the Forum, the event, named OLL XP, will be organised by the One Life Left gaming cafe in St Benedicts Street and will take place on Saturday, February 25 and Sunday, February 26.

The free event will see more than 30 retro games available to play from Norwich Retro Gamers and the Norwich Amiga Group and a Super Smash Bros tournament take place.

Organiser Jon Gage said: "We're so excited to add OLL XP to our line-up of gaming events this year.

Norwich Evening News:

"This is great way to discover the gaming communities of Norwich in and around our local area.

"We're looking forward to seeing all the games in development from our local universities and playing some of the hundreds of games at the event throughout the weekend."

Tickets are available online by visiting the cafe's Facebook page, despite the event having free entry there is a charge for some talks.

It comes after Last Level Games in St Benedicts Street reported an uptick in customers buying retro games.
