A deserted city restaurant focusing on sweet treats could have some new life breathed into it as the unit is now under offer.

Dessert parlour Mindoro closed in 2019, blaming weeks of disruption to trade in the area after a chunk of cladding was blown off Norwich's Westlegate Tower - and has remained empty ever since.

But now the unit, opposite the Tesco store in Westlegate, is under offer.

It remains unknown when or if a new tenant will move in.

The former Art Deco-themed food premises, between Magik Clippers and Just Cards at the bottom of Westlegate, was previously the Wedding Party Shop and Just Jeans.

The shop floor covers 1,661sqft and was marketed as having a yearly rental value of £45,000.

It has A1 and A3 usage, meaning it is currently available for shop, restaurant and cafe use.
