Hope remains that two large empty units in an outer city retail park will be brought back to life by new businesses.
Sweet Briar Retail Park is home to retailers such as M&S Simply Food and Costa.
But the large former Ikea and Maplin stores remain empty.
Ikea's Norwich branch, spanning 19,000sqft, opened in November 2015 but closed in 2021 with 39 staff affected due to not hitting sales targets.
And Maplin Electronics went into administration in 2018 rendering the 5,265sqft unit in Norwich defunct.
Bill Johnson, vice-chairman of Hellesdon Parish Council said the nearby units would be of great benefit to the area.
"I would like to see them filled," he said.
"They would provide facilities for people around here."

Hellesdon county councillor and chairwoman of the parish council, Shelagh Gurney, added: "I would like to see a clothing outlet there.
"Something needs to go in there. An empty business unit is no use to man nor beast.
"It would be nice to see the buildings utilised. But as to what or who's interested in them, I don't know."
