The owner of a thriving patisserie business in Norwich is hoping for sweet success with her new market to support local producers.
Katie-Marie Park, 34, has run the Little Pie Patisserie from her kitchen for the last seven years doing pastries, cakes and grazing tables and she does everything from supper clubs to weddings.
While there are plenty of regular craft markets in the city, she spotted a gap in the market for a seasonal food, drink and flower event.
She is calling it the Olive & Co Market and the first one will be on Saturday, March 11 from 10am until 3pm in the main gallery space at Anteros Arts Foundation in Fye Bridge Street.
There is free entry at the spring event and to begin with there will be around 10 stalls, ranging from florist The Gypsy Shed to Doxi Cocktails.
There will also be a community stall with a mix of products from businesses just starting out.
Miss Park said: "I wanted to create a farmers-style market as since starting my business I have met lots of brilliant local producers so wanted to do something to build a community."
