1. Christophe's Crêpes, 12 Pottergate

Christophe's Crêpes is run by couple Chris and Lauren Smith and they opened a brick-and-mortar eatery in 2020 after many years of running their mobile business.

From the Nutty Monkey with Nutella and banana to the Italian-inspired Luigi, there is a huge range of sweet and savoury crêpes on offer.

2. Ber Street Kitchen, 141-143 Ber Street

This fabulous family-run and dog-friendly café offers delicious home-cooked brunches and cakes.

The menu includes generously topped American pancakes, with toppings ranging from maple syrup to berry compote, greek yoghurt, banana and honey, and a vegan version is also available.

3. J.C. Pinto, 1 St John Maddermarket 

This newly-opened brunch spot is located in the former home of The Iron House restaurant and it is a great place for cosy catch-ups. 

On the menu is banoffee pancakes with toasted almonds, caramelised banana, toffee sauce, white chocolate drops, powdered sugar and maple syrup, with optional extras of bacon and sausages.

4. Slice and Dice, 10-12 St Benedicts Street

Slice and Dice board game café and bar recently moved to larger premises due to its popularity. 

Challenge your mates at a board game while enjoying a fully plant-based menu, including pancake stacks that are also part of the bottomless brunch menu.

5. Café 33, 31-33 Exchange Street

This brunch institution in the heart of the city centre, which has been open since 2006, has queues out the door almost every day. 

Customers can enjoy everything from breakfast bagels to American-style pancakes, topped with either banana slices with crushed pecans and Biscoff or fresh fruit and maple syrup and you can also add bacon.
