A Norwich man will appear at crown court after being charged with sexual offences including the rape of a child.
Jason Storey, 49, of Atkinson Close, Bowthorpe, appeared at Norwich Magistrates' Court on Thursday, February 9, accused of seven separate sexual offences.
The defendant, who wore a plain jumper, did not enter a plea and the short hearing in front of two magistrates was adjourned to Norwich Crown Court for a hearing on Thursday, March 9.
The court heard that the alleged offences took place in Boston, Lincolnshire, between May 16 and May 29 in 2016 against a girl aged around 11.
Later offences happened in and around May in 2017 and all the crimes involved sexual touching.
He was brought to Norwich Magistrates' Court after he failed to attend a hearing at Boston Magistrates' Court and later arrested under a warrant.
The accused was released on conditional bail but was ordered to stay in his Atkinson Close home and to not try to contact the victims of the alleged sexual offences.
