A Norwich-based firm has been named the best cleaning business employer in the UK.
Sparkle Norwich, owned and run by Gorleston-born Emily Gibbs, won the 'Best Cleaning Business Employer in the UK' award at the Domestic Cleaning Business Network (DCBN) awards.
Emily said in response to the news: "I'm extremely proud as one thing I am super passionate about is making sure we look after our staff and that they feel valued and appreciated in all that they do.
"We have such a fabulous team and each and every one of the ladies plays a huge part in making Sparkle a success."
Sparkle - based in Sprowston and with a staff hub in the city centre - provides pay above the national living wage, a well-being programme which includes monthly massages and manicures, weekend treats, a self-care library and a subscription to the 'Headspace' well-being.
It also holds team days which include afternoon teas and brunches.
The DCBN awards were held online on January 26. The network was launched in October 2019 and has over 2,200 active subscribers, with an average of 5.5 staff each.
