A city street food vendor has created a unique dish to celebrate Pancake Day.
The StreetFood Box, on the top floor of Castle Quarter, specialises in burgers with a difference.
The burger firm recently unveiled its gender-reveal burgers and now staff have used their creative flair to put a twist on a classic.
StreetFood Box’s burger pancakes are a recreation of its standard cheeseburger and feature two American buttermilk pancakes with a bacon cheeseburger filling.
Crispy bacon and maple syrup are also put on top of the dish.
The pancakes have a slightly sweet flavouring, similar to the brioche buns used for the burgers.
Matthew Dawkins, director at The StreetFood Box, said: “We enjoy doing crazy and fun things that are a bit different and that is why they've dreamt up the new burger creation.”
The burger pancakes are not available yet but customers can get their hands on it around Pancake Day which falls on Tuesday, February 21.
