A city mum is fighting for more time with her four-year-old daughter after vital signs of cancer were missed.
Sarah McGowan, 33, lives off Silver Road with her partner and daughter and says chemotherapy is no longer working.
This means Sarah is looking at a private drug which would cost £600 every three weeks.
The personal trainer was given the devastating news after seeking medical advice after feeling "uncomfortable".
Sarah said: "I was feeling pressure lower down while feeling extremely emotional and tired.
"I was so uncomfortable I went to see a doctor at the end of 2021 but was told these feelings were normal after having a baby - so they didn't do any checks.
"However after things got worse I went back in May 2022 and, after eventually having tests done, was given the news on July 1.
"It's the most shocking thing that's ever happened in my life.

"In an instant, my entire world was tipped on its head and everything as I know has entirely changed."
Sarah has been on chemotherapy for the last seven months and while it has affected the tumour in her lung and colon, around 65pc of her liver is still infected and incurable.
A GoFundMe has been set up to help buy time with a private drug, Bevacizumab, more commonly know as Avastin, which she would need to take every three weeks - costing £600 each time.

The fundraiser has raised a remarkable total of £25,625 which Ms McGowan says "is just in time".
She added: "I've been blown away and am overwhelmed by the generosity of my friends, family, and amazing strangers.
"I can't express how grateful I am.
"I just want time and an opportunity to live a full life and don't want to leave my daughter without a mother."
Warning signs of bowel cancer
The three main symptoms of bowel cancer are blood in the stool (faeces) or a change in toilet habits, such as more frequent, looser stool and stomach pain.
In some cases, bowel cancer can stop digestive waste passing through the bowel.
This is known as bowel obstruction and signs of this can include intermittent stomach pain brought on by eating, unintentional weight loss, constant swelling of the stomach or being sick.
