Castle Mall was rebranded as Castle Quarter in 2019, transforming the centre from a simple shopping mall to a more experiential destination with a gym and a bowling alley.
In 1990, The Castle Hotel was demolished and work began, before the mall opened in 1993.
Twelve years later Chapelfield shopping centre - now Chantry Place - opened in 2005.
