A Norfolk football club has reported racist and homophobic abuse during a cup tie.
In a statement, Wroxham FC said there were a "number of incidents" at Tuesday night's fixture between themselves and AFC Emneth which took place in Wisbech.
The statement read: "At last night's Norfolk Senior Cup game against AFC Emneth, which took place at Wisbech Football Club's Fountain Fresh Park stadium, some of our players sadly experienced racist and homophobic abuse on the pitch from spectators.
"Wroxham FC has a zero tolerance policy for such actions and is working closely with both Norfolk FA and AFC Emneth in the investigation into this matter.
"Anyone affected by this incident will be fully supported whilst this takes place."
AFC Emneth also released a statement on Twitter that said the club has "zero tolerance on any form of racism or discrimination" and that it will "act on it with any means necessary".
