Today is World Book Day and children across the city were dressed up as their favourite storybook characters.
Not wanting to miss out on the event, some city dogs dressed up as their favourite literary characters too.
Tom and Toto is a luxury doggy day care centre at White House Farm in Sprowston.
Centre director Sarah Wright said: "Our centre is similar to a school, the dogs learn new skills each week.
"We send each owner a photo daily as part of their ‘school report’ so today they will be World Book Day themed."
Dogs who did not want to dress up will take part in listening to an audiobook at nap time instead so that none of them misses out on the fun.
Each day there are 30 dogs that spend their day playing, exploring, foraging and having a go at agility.
Having only opened in January 2022, Tom and Toto has quickly become popular having recently won an award for being the best of its kind in the country.
