Sail on a historic boat at a special event to mark its 100th anniversary on the Norfolk Broads.
Bootlegger is a traditional wooden sailing yacht that was first launched in 1923 and a century later it is still a popular hire boat in the Eastwood Whelpton fleet at Upton.
On Friday, March 24 at 11am, Bootlegger, which was restored in 2019, will be launched at its base at Upton Yacht Station to celebrate the birthday.
It will include taster sails and coffee and cakes to raise money for a local charity.
For more than 50 years Anne and Tim Whelpton ran the boatyard and in 2016 it was handed to Andy and Annie Hamilton.
Mrs Hamilton said: "Bootlegger is a true piece of Broads history.
"We would love our local community to come along to this event and celebrate her 100th birthday with us."
They are also looking for crews to take on the Bootlegger 100 Challenge over the 2023 season to sail the entirety of the Broads between them.
